Monday, August 21 was an epic day! I traveled one hour south of Louisville to Hopskinville, KY with my friends to catch a glimpse of the Total Eclipse sweeping across North America and it was one of the best experience of my life! We had anticipated to be stuck in nightmare-ish traffic for hours, but in the end, it was worth the effort to catch a full two and half minutes of eclipse in totalism.
Tagging my trusting Nikon D5100 along, I was able to capture twenty minutes of build-up leading to and the totalism that took place. Below is the footage sped up and shrunk down to only one minute.
