So, why this get up? Inspired by nostalgia of a carefree summer of 1992 when I was hanging out at my childhood friend, Paul, in his home watching Beavis & Butthead. I was introduced to Nirvana for the first time. I remember watching the Teen Spirit music video for the first time and it instantly became one of my favorite songs of all time.
This was made from a 14x12x12 cardboard box, with hobby foam outline cuts in the front, installed with real vintage TV knobs & antennas, covered in wooden design paper on the sides to mimic an old TV set. Equipped with Bluetooth speakers hidden behind the faux speaker panels. The picture screen is cut to fit an iPad that plays music videos, just like how MTV used to be. Oh, the good old days.
